Pump Fit is a tempo training fitness app that helps you control the speed of your lifts for better muscle gains. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Information We Collect

Pump Fit collects the following data to provide its core functionality:

• Name: Your display name, used for your account profile
• User ID: A unique identifier for your account
• Fitness data: Workouts, exercises, sets, reps, and weights you log
• Health data: Heart rate data from Apple Health (with your permission)
• Crash data: Anonymous crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs
• Product interaction: Usage analytics via Firebase Analytics, linked to your account through a pseudonymous identifier so we can measure active and returning users accurately

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide workout tracking and tempo training features
• Sync your workouts across devices
• Display your heart rate on completed workout summaries
• Enable workout sharing with friends
• Improve app stability through crash reporting
• Understand how features are used to improve the app

Data Storage

Your workout data is stored locally on your device and synced to our secure servers (Google Cloud) so you can access it across devices. Your data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

Health data (heart rate) is read from Apple Health and displayed within the app. We do not store health data on our servers.

Third-Party Services

Pump Fit uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymous crash reporting to help us identify and fix bugs
• Firebase Analytics: Usage data, associated with a pseudonymous account identifier, to understand how features are used and measure active users

These services collect non-personally-identifiable data. Analytics events are associated with a pseudonymous identifier derived from your account so we can count unique and returning users accurately. We do not use any advertising or cross-app tracking services.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Workout data is only shared when you explicitly choose to share a workout with another user via the app's sharing feature.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete your account: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's settings
• Health data access: You can revoke Pump Fit's access to Apple Health at any time in your device's Settings
• Delete local data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

Security

Pump Fit uses passkey authentication for secure, passwordless sign-in. All communication with our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections. We never see or store passwords.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
